Starting on Small Business Saturday (The Saturday after Black Friday) Downtown New Haven transforms to a winter wonderland. There is always a new holiday treat on Fridays in Downtown! Shops stay open late, holiday cheer is spread and live performers roam the streets. Each year we add something new to these Friday Nights and it all kicks off on the First Friday of December where you can meet Santa in a historic Union Pacific Caboose!

Tree Decorating Contest You are invited to participate in a Christmas Tree Decorating Contest at the Christmas by Moonlight event in downtown New Haven on December 3rd, 10th, and 17th. Local businesses, religious organizations, non-profit organizations, service clubs and individuals/families are encouraged to apply! You can enter by clicking on the button below to print out a registration form. This fun and exciting event is a great way to kick off the holiday Christmas Season. |

Downtown New Haven, Inc. is busy preparing for Christmas By Moonlight Festivities, which will be held Friday, December 3, 10, and 17th from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm in Downtown New Haven. We are planning to provide a fun, festive, and safe event for our Community.
By hosting this event, our goal is to bring more people to the beautiful town of New Haven and provide them with the feel of an “Old Fashioned Christmas By Moonlight.”
Christmas by Moonlight is a non-profit, charity event as Downtown New Haven, Inc is a 501c3. Because of this, we are seeking community support. We would greatly appreciate if you would consider being a part of Christmas by Moonlight by becoming a sponsor and supporting this hometown event.
